Christians like Anwar (name changed) often lose everything when they choose Jesus. He grew up in Syria as the son of a Muslim leader – when he gave his life to Jesus, his family threw him out.
Thankfully, a Centre of Hope run by Open Doors partners was able to give practical help as well as fellowship – and now Anwar teaches at the centre.
Today, will you help other believers like Anwar find the hope they need?

In this issue of the magazine, you’ll meet Anwar* – the son of a Muslim leader in Syria. When he became a Christian, his family threw him out – but, thanks to Open Doors supporters, a local Centre of Hope was able to give Anwar somewhere to stay and hope for the future. “If it weren’t for the Centre of Hope, I don’t know what I would have done,” says Anwar. “I would be homeless, hungry and alone.”
