These videos give an insight into the life and faith of secret Christians in Eritrea.
Following Jesus in Eritrea comes with huge risks. The country is number six on the World Watch List. Only Lutheran, Orthodox and Catholic churches are permitted. Gatherings outside of these groups – including the one shown in this video – are ‘illegal’. Being discovered at one can lead to imprisonment.
Amazingly, despite the extreme persecution, the church in Eritrea is still growing. In the video below, three Eritrean Christians give a short insight into what life is like to follow Jesus in the country, and how the church is still alive and still growing.
